This is a vinyl covered combination chain and spring that protects wood or metal outswinging doors from wind damage. It has an aluminum finish and is made from heavy gauge spring wire with a steel chain. It installs to the door and jamb to restrict the door from flying open in the wind causing damage to the door or your home. All necessary mounting hardware is included for a quick and easy installation
